FROM THE BLOG -> Making Game of Thrones cosplay
Helle there! This is a group of italian ASoIaF-addicted/cosplayers that has been working for almost a year at an ambitious project: give life to the world created by George Martin through the costumes, the characters and the objects of Westeros.
But let’s start from the beginning..
Why “A Song of Ice and Fire”? Who hasn’t fallen in love with the Saga while reading it? Who of you hasn’t his favourite character? And again.. is there anyone who doesn’t ‘cheer’ for a House instead of another? Well, the idea of this group comes from the union of great cosplayers and simple fans of Asoiaf and the newbies of Game of Thrones - even those who enter in the world of costuming and performing for the first time -. Everyone can join!
Who are we? As I said, the group is disparete: from cosplayers to fans, from larp players to just curious people, we can really bet on a huge number of co-workers. We will introduce ourselves in the next posts.
How many are we? Nice question! According to the rules of Lucca Comics&Games cosplay contest, we can’t be more than 50 on the stage. Only the most important characters will perform with the throne, but out of the lights, walking under the walls of Lucca, we’ll be more than 50.. we’ll invade the city! Prepare the cameras!
The Iron Throne? Just so. We are reproducing the 1:1 Iron Throne, made of wood, polyrethane, etc ecc.. you’ll see!
